Italian epic black metallers Scuorn have revealed a new lyric video for the track named "Tarantella Nera", the fourth single from their critically acclaimed debut album Parthenope, released worldwide in February 2017 via Dusktone.
The song "Tarantella Nera" is focused on the most popular Roman god of pleasure, ecstasy, wine and fertility, Bacchus. The inhabitants of the ancient Neapolis worshipped him by holding parades in his honor consisting of euphoric dances and singing. People participating in parades would dress up in animal skins and priestesses (the 'Maenads') danced in a mad trance. The famous Neapolitan traditional folk dance 'Tarantella' originated from these ancient pagan rituals.
Official lyric video was produced by the Italian artist Goffredo Passi at EstremArte videoproduzioni. Featuring special guest orchestrals by Riccardo Studer (Time Collapse Recording Studio) from Italian extreme epic metal pioneers Stormlord. Link
