British art pop/post-punk act Plenty released a video clip for the new melancholic single "Strange Gods". Plenty is a band who waited three decades for a new release from the band that was formed in 1986 from the remnants of the eccentric Liverpool-based post-punk ensemble A Better Mousetrap and the art rockers from Warrington, After The Stranger, and is the immediate predecessor to Tim Bowness' No-Man Band.
Over a period of 14 months, Plenty re-recorded 16 songs originally written in the 80s, alongside one new piece. An album resulting from the sessions - called It Could Be Home - has been mixed and co-produced by Jacob Holm-Lupo, and also features contributions from Michael Bearpark, Steve Bingham and Peter Chilvers. The cover artwork is by Carl Glover and the album will be released on 27th April via Norwegian label Karisma Records (Major Parkinson, Tusmorke, Airbag,...) on all formats including beautiful colored limited edition vinyl.
