Milano (Italy) based post-punk/darkwave band Clone Culture have signed a record deal with Lifeforce Records. Their debut album is set to be released in October 2018.
"My love for 80s synth pop, dark wave, post-punk and the newer bands of the genre like Soft Kill or She Past Away is undeniable", comments label owner Stefan Lüdicke. "When Marco Tafuri (who has a strong hardcore/metal background) came up with his new band Clone Culture I felt in love for it almost immediately, but couldn't really think of releasing it through Lifeforce Records. At the end he convinced me to think outside the box, dare to experiment and I'm very happy now we will do this together. Watch out for great things to come!"
Guitarist Marco Tafuri about signing to Lifeforce Records: "After the recordings of the album I didn't know from where starting with label research for my new band and its sound: the scene and many related contacts I was in touch with in the hardcore/metal days was not existing anymore. Lifeforce and Stefan always meant a lot to me, I'm friend of guys in bands who worked with him for years. I know his passion and dedication, this was more than enough to put my trust and my band in his hands. I'm super excited about what we will do in the next months!"
