British occult/horror metal band The Heretic Order just released a lyric video for the track "The Forest Of The Impaled". The track is taken from the band's upcoming album, Evil Rising, mixed and mastered by Guillermo "Will" Maya, which will be released this Friday, 22nd June via Massacre Records. The cover artwork was created by Ipoet Poetra (Five Miligrams Artworks). The song topics on Evil Rising range from the occult, prophecies and death to factual historical events.
Vocalist Lord Ragnar comments: "The song describes the feelings and the horrific sight that befalls an Ottoman soldier who encounters the Forest of the Impaled's victims, ordered by Vlad III of Wallachia, during the Ottoman's invasion of Transylvania in the 1460s."
