End Of Green - The Painstream: With The Painstream German alternative gothic metallers story got another chapter, this time with the best, almost perfect production, and some of the catchiest melodies and sing along choruses they've ever done. The Painstream is a good album that has its magnificient moments, it's gloomy, yet dynamic with a nice drive and well flowing songs. Read a review HERE. Links: Website, Facebook
Joy/Disaster - Broken Promises: One hell of a mesmerizing combination of punk rock, post-punk and gothic metal! Fifth album from French outfit is heavy, groovy, melodic, yet melancholic and all those melodic driving parts will remain in your head for a long time. Broken Promises is nothing but an exceptional musical enjoyment. Links: Website, Facebook
Kaak - Pro-Love: The new studio album of this extreme industrial metal band shows a band in a rather more mainstream industrial orientation like fans of the band were used to hear from them. OK, don't expect any compromises but a turbulent kick in the face. Pro-Love is modern, extreme, yet very obscure and technically perfective album that holds such a lot of energy. Katatonia - Dethroned & Uncrowned: Not really a new album, but reworked last album Dead End Kings shows those songs in a stripped down, semi-acoustic way, full of ambiance and without distorted guitars. In other words this one sounds like a completely new work and believe us it is ethereal. But what else can we expect from a band like Katatonia? Links: Website, Facebook
Monica Richards - Kindred: The muse of dark music striked again with maybe one of hers most profound albums until now. Songs are written for all the kindred spirits in her life, animals and humans. Retro fell of old-school electronica and Monicas unique voice gives a special feeling, not to mention some really uncommon sounds that are are actually sampled wing flaps or steps. Ethereal and breathtaking! Links: Website, Facebook
Sirenia - Perils Of The Deep Blue: Morten Veland's second progeny (first being Tristania and the third Mortemia) is like a ship on a long journey over the seas: sometimes it flows smoothly and then it hits a harsh wave and almost sinks down. Perils Of The Deep Blue is one of its ups and a record in Sirenia’s discography worth being proud of. Read a review HERE. Links: Facebook
The Ruins Of Beverast - Blood Vaults (The Blazing Gospel Of Heinrich Kramer): This 80 minutes long black metal adventure has everything needed for a masterpiece. Bewitching doomy passages, gloomy synths, melody, dormant power that punishes the listener when least expected and psychedelic twists that kill in all its glory. Links: Facebook
