California’s experimental extreme‑metal duo Antania have unleashed their brand‑new single and official video “33”, offering the first glimpse into their upcoming album The Unholy 33, set for release on 16 October through Argonauta Records. The announcement arrives alongside major touring news, with the duo preparing to join Swedish extreme‑metal veterans The Crown for a run of dates across Asia.

Following the recent reveal of their signing to Argonauta Records, Doc Luna and Kali Mortem now deliver the first strike of their new era. With “33”, Antania push their uncompromising vision even further, reinforcing their reputation as one of the most radical voices in avant‑garde black metal, industrial extremity and experimental electronics.

Built entirely without guitars or bass, the track is a violent collision of synthesisers, crushing low‑frequency pressure, distorted electronic textures and machine‑driven rhythmic force. The result is a soundscape that feels bleak, mechanical and feral—an industrial architecture collapsing under its own weight. Antania’s approach remains singular: abrasive, confrontational, and defiantly outside the boundaries of traditional extreme metal.
