The German electro/synth-pop duo Conscience has returned, reinvented and redefined as a duo, and has released a brand new single titled "Control." With this track, they introduce the first chapter of their upcoming album, Suspended In Time, which will be released through Echozone on a date yet to be confirmed.
This track is one that needs to be experienced, not just listened to. It's melodic and powerful, both familiar and surprising. From the moment you press play, you'll find yourself caught in a balance between tension and release—where music transcends mere sound. The only question remains: will you maintain control, or will you let it slip away?
Conscience was founded in August 1991 as a solo project by Rüdiger Illg. He gained his first musical experience in the 1980s with the C64, the short-lived project Agony (together with a school friend), and on his father's slightly damaged home organ. RI became interested in music at an early age, recording radio programs, making his own compilations, and persuading his parents to buy a record player. Conscience has been signed to Echozone since 2009 and made its debut there with the album Gravity Has Gone (2009). Link
