Polish one‑man project U.K.Ć. has released a new music video for “Mętne Słońce”, a track taken from the project’s second studio album Anomalie. U.K.Ć. is the creative vessel of Łukasz “Icanraz” Sarnacki, widely recognised for his work with Corruption, Devilish Impressions, Virgin Snatch, Hermh, and Christ Agony. The video was produced in collaboration with Art Of Vision, adding a stark visual dimension to the song’s emotional weight.
Although rooted in metal, U.K.Ć. was never conceived as a live or full‑band endeavour. Its essence lies in deeply personal expression — music shaped by unfiltered emotion, vulnerability, and introspection. It is a form of metal unafraid of its own sensitivity, channelling sincerity rather than spectacle.
Released on 6 March via Via Nocturna, Anomalie – Upadek Konającego Ćwierćwiecza marks the project’s second full‑length offering. The album was recorded at the renowned Hertz Studio, with Karol Anders (Quo Vadis, Supreme Void) overseeing tracking and Wojtek Wiesławski (Azarath, Vader) delivering the final sound. The visual identity was shaped by Rafał Kubisiak (artwork) and Magdalena Zagóra (photography).
Reflecting on the new single, Łukasz comments: “‘Mętne Słońce’ is inspired by cultural and religious diversity. As a passionate traveller, I approach the chance to experience customs far removed from European norms with gratitude and respect. The direct impulse for the lyrics came from witnessing ignorance, pride, and narcissistic arrogance displayed by citizens of what we consider a developed and educated society when confronted with differences — for example, in Middle Eastern cultures. This track is a reaction born from embarrassment, shame, and helplessness. ‘Mętne Słońce’ is a statement of opposition.”
Musically, U.K.Ć. will resonate with listeners who appreciate the emotional depth and atmospheric melancholy of Katatonia, Opeth, My Dying Bride, and the raw spirit of Bathory. Link
