German gothic metal veterans Crematory have unveiled a brand‑new music video for their latest single “Blind”, offering a stark preview of their forthcoming career‑spanning anthology English Hymns & Deutsche Hymnen. The collection, celebrating 35 years of the band’s legacy, is set for release on 15 May via ROAR! – a division of Reigning Phoenix Music (RPM).
The new single “Blind” appears as an exclusive bonus track on the Deutsche Hymnen vinyl edition. Marking one of Crematory’s darkest German‑language offerings to date, the song delves into themes of spiritual decay and emotional collapse. Its bleak, ritualistic tone is underscored by lines such as “kein morgen naht, kein leben bleibt / nur kalte asche”, reinforcing the track’s cold, cinematic aura.
Frontman Felix Stass comments: “‘Blind’ reflects a world where hope dissolves and only shadows remain.”
