Symphonic metal group Deep Sun have unveiled "Worship The Warship – Live", the second cut taken from their impending live album Vollständiges Live‑Album, set to land on 24 September under Power Blast Records.

Captured on 28 March 2026 at Schützi Olten, Switzerland, the performance distils one of the most intense and commanding moments of the evening. Originally released in 2019 on the album Das Erbe der Welt, "Worship The Warship" explores themes of technological advancement, artificial intelligence and a society increasingly shaped — and potentially dominated — by the machinery it has created. At its core lies a stark question: how far can this development progress, and what happens when humanity gradually relinquishes control to its own inventions?

With the striking line "An ice cold era has begun", the song paints a vision of a chilling, hyper‑technological future. Its title plays deliberately on the notion of a society that not only relies on its technological achievements, but increasingly gives them power. In its live incarnation, the piece unleashes its full force: heavy guitars, driving drums, monumental orchestral layers and the expressive voice of Debora Lavagnolo merge into a formidable symphonic metal experience.

The upcoming live record documents a defining moment in Deep Sun's history. The concert at Schützi Olten was professionally recorded as both an audio and video production, aiming to capture the ensemble exactly as it is experienced on stage — energetic, melodic, powerful and driven by the immediate connection with the audience. In their live versions, the songs gain fresh dynamism, revealing how orchestral arrangements, weighty guitars and Lavagnolo's commanding vocals converge into a shared, immersive concert atmosphere.

The production was made possible through the support of the band's devoted fan community, the Deep Sunlights, whose successful crowdfunding campaign directly contributed to the realisation of the project and enabled the elaborate audio‑visual recording.

Mixing and mastering were handled by Frank Pitters of Silverline Music, while the video production was realised by Steve Diener and afroxfilm. The result is not merely a documentation of a single evening, but a collaborative creation between the band, production team and fan community.
