Swiss symphonic metal ensemble Deep Sun have present "The Window - Live", the first cut taken from their upcoming debut live record Vollständiges Live-Album. Captured on 28 March 2026 at Schützi Olten, the recording channels the band's immediacy, dynamism and emotional force with striking clarity.
Originally featured on their 2025 album Storyteller, "The Window" explores themes of overcoming inner barriers, discovering new perspectives and finding the courage to continue along one's own path. At its heart lies the idea that change, freedom and answers do not solely reside in the outside world, but begin within.
In its live incarnation, the piece gains heightened intensity. Driving guitars, forceful drums, orchestral keyboard textures and the expressive voice of Debora Lavagnolo merge with the ambience of the concert evening, resulting in a vivid and energetic performance.
"The Window - Live" marks the beginning of the release campaign for Deep Sun's first official live album. The second track, "Worship The Warship - Live", is set for release on 21 August, while the full album will follow on 24 September 2026 via Power Blast Records. Link
