About six months ago, Westend Theater Wuppertal invited the music project Dos Asmund to compose music for a new theatre production based on the works of H. P. Lovecraft.
The result is the soundtrack for the play LOVECRAFT., featuring a selection of tracks from the current album Technokrat alongside newly composed pieces written specifically for the stage production. For Dos Asmund, this marks the first project in which music was created directly for a theatrical context.
The premiere took place on 11 October, as an exclusive performance at Westend Theater Wuppertal. Additional public dates are already being planned.
Dos Asmund is a music project combining electronic soundscapes with influences from multiple genres. Most releases are created as solo productions, occasionally featuring collaborations with other musicians. The LOVECRAFT. soundtrack represents the project's first contribution to a theatre and stage production. Link
