From the underground of Istanbul to their new creative home in France, the acclaimed darkwave duo Ductape returns with Faded Flowers — their most cinematic and emotionally charged album to date. Alongside the announcement, the band have unveiled a new official video for “Velvet Dawn”, directed by Begüm Koçum.

Formed by Çağla Güleray and Furkan Güleray, Ductape have built a reputation for transforming emotional fragility into sweeping, atmospheric darkwave. On Faded Flowers, they dive deeper into themes of global emotional collapse, social alienation, and the quiet rebellion of individuality. At the heart of the record lies the image of humanity as a field of faded flowers — people worn down by repetition, isolation, and the psychological weight of modern life.

Musically, the album blends fierce synths, cold basslines, Çağla’s unmistakable vocal presence, and Furkan’s guitar lines that feel almost conversational. The album’s rollout has already drawn strong attention. First single “Fine” resonated widely across the post‑punk and darkwave scenes, followed by the Turkish‑language “Gölgesiz”, and most recently “Obscure”, hinting at the darker, more refined sonic palette of Faded Flowers.
