Costa Rican atmospheric industrial black metal project Dusk announces the impending release of Industrie, due on 31 May. The band's newest album is comprised of six conceptually linked chapters and ends with a scathing revisioning of Mahyem's "Freezing Moon".
Dusk has launched the first single, "Industrie II", a mechanized black metal anthem which transitions from a post-apocalyptic burial doom into a war-blackened chaos.
Industrie brings a new concept never explored by the band. The forthcoming release is more experimental and way more digestive than the previous releases, incorporating some groove-paced riffs into the grisly aggression and the apocalyptic landscapes.
Dusk is known to incorporate industrial with some atmospheric black metal overtones. The overall sound approaches a mixture of hard bass with dark landscapes, full of relenting uncaring pounding blast beats and slow, powerful doom patterns, mixed with inhuman growling vocals and modern electronic influences.
