German dark electro/darkwave newcomers Nachtschleife have unveiled their second single, "Suizid", accompanied by a striking animated video. The track is taken from the band's forthcoming debut album, Systemabfall, which is slated for release via Echozone, with the official release date yet to be announced.
Blending elements of darkwave, dark electro, and industrial music, Nachtschleife explores the darker and often unsettling realities of human existence and contemporary society. With "Suizid", the band turns its attention to themes of loneliness, despair, mental health crises, and the overwhelming feeling of having lost direction or hope.
Rather than glorifying or romanticising these struggles, the song seeks to bring visibility to an issue that frequently remains hidden from view. It serves as a poignant reminder that a person's inner battles are not always apparent and that those who seem fine on the outside may be facing profound difficulties in silence.
Commenting on the track's message, the band states: "Look. Listen. Ask. Take people seriously. Sometimes that alone can make a difference."
