Swedish metal force Eleine has released its brand-new single and music video, "Ich Sehe Dich", the latest offering from its forthcoming fifth studio album, The Water Taste Of Blood, due for release on 4 December via Algoth Records.
While the album's previous singles explored collapsing empires built on lies, betrayal, and their devastating consequences, "Ich Sehe Dich" brings the confrontation directly into the spotlight. Serving as one of the album's most uncompromising statements, the track channels anger, empowerment, and defiance into a crushing sonic experience.
Built upon a striking interplay between hauntingly melodic verses and massive, chugging riffs, the song steadily intensifies before erupting into its commanding three-word German chorus: Ich Sehe Dich ("I See You"). The result is a stern, heavy, and unapologetic anthem that stands alongside fan favourite "Mein Herz Brennt" in both intensity and emotional impact.
Lyrically, the track strips away manipulation, falsehoods, and toxic shame. Written for the moment when victims finally recognise and reject the influence of those who seek to control them through deceit, "Ich Sehe Dich" delivers a fearless message of self-awareness and resilience. Unflinching and brutally honest, it reveals a powerful new dimension of Eleine's ever-evolving sound.
Commenting on the song, Madeleine Liljestam and Rikard Ekberg shared: "Have you ever wanted to say 'I see you' straight to the face of someone who tries to hurt you, or others, through spreading lies? 'Ich Sehe Dich' is about that exact moment. Yet again, another chorus of ours felt so natural to have in another language. The words fell perfectly into place and emphasizes the heaviness of the message within the song."
The release arrives as Eleine embarks on the most extensive headline tour of its career. Beginning tonight, the band will bring its renowned high-energy live performance across Europe and the UK, performing 31 shows in 13 countries. The tour includes stops in major cities such as London, Paris, Barcelona, Milan, Warsaw, and Copenhagen before concluding with a special hometown album release show at Mejeriet in Lund, Sweden, on 5 December.
Following multiple sold-out dates on the band's previous European run, demand for tickets is already high, further cementing Eleine's position as one of the most formidable and rapidly rising acts on the modern symphonic metal scene.
