Italy's Edna Frau (feat. members of Postvorta, The Doormen) has dropped the first track, "See Me", from its upcoming album due this spring.

The driving, crisp rhythm evokes strong echoes of the early Editors; then comes that killer chorus that latches onto your mind, moving through an almost sweeter, more melodic space.

Influenced by post-punk, electro, and bands like Interpol and Soulwax, Edna Frau was born in Ravenna in 2020 from multi-instrumentalist Andrea Fioravanti's need to distance himself from the more extreme sounds of his main band, Postvorta, to explore a more accessible side of his musical passions. Together with Vincenzo "Vins" Baruzzi, singer of The Doormen, Fioravanti composed the debut album, My Ego Is Bigger than Yours (2021), produced in collaboration with Riccardo "Paso" Pasini (Studio 73) and Fabio Alessandrini (Annihilator) on drums. To promote the album live, the band expanded into a quartet with Seppia Foschini on bass and Federico Guardigni on drums. Link
