Finnish melodic death/gothic metal outfit Endless Chain continues building anticipation for their upcoming album Nothingness with the release of "Save Me", a powerful new single accompanied by an evocative music video.
Described by guitarist Timo Mölsä as one of his personal favourites on the record, "Save Me" showcases the band's trademark blend of emotional depth and melodic melancholy. The track is further elevated by the vocal performances of Ville Hovi and Aki Salonen, whose delivery brings the song's sombre atmosphere vividly to life.
Lyrically, "Save Me" explores themes of loss, memory, regret, and despair. According to vocalist Ville Hovi, the song follows a man haunted by the loss of a loved one, struggling to distinguish reality from memories as the weight of everything left unsaid and undone slowly consumes him. Yet amid the darkness, a fragile sense of hope still endures.
The accompanying video, produced by Dronicon Films (Swallow The Sun, Devin Townsend, Kryptos), follows previously released singles "Down" and "Fade To Nothingness", offering another glimpse into the band's forthcoming third album, Nothingness. Set for release on 20 November via M-Theory Audio, the album promises a compelling fusion of crushing heaviness, profound melancholy, and atmospheric beauty, further establishing Endless Chain as a notable force within Finland's dark metal landscape.
