German dark pop/gothic rock act Florian Grey released today a new single, "If Love Could Kill". The single is taken from the upcoming album, Beautiful Nightmares, which will be released on 23 May via NoCut. "If Love Could Kill" is the quintessence of a conversation between two formerly connected people. Processing what they experienced and concluding that this interpersonal relationship was mostly toxic, that they closed their eyes to things for far too long to save something. A realisation with the conclusion of mental self-rescue from this relationship, which was doomed to failure anyway.
The song immediately catches the ear and sticks there. The sound is reminiscent of the music of gothic rock legends HIM and yet has something all of its own. Link
