Portuguese gothic/dark metal act Heavenwood have issued a new video for the track "The Sun", taken from their latest album, The Tarot Of The Bohemians – Part II — the second and final chapter of the group's ambitious conceptual work inspired by the hermetic writings of Gérard Encausse (Papus), released in June on Mighty Music.
The atmospheric and visually striking video was created by Natalia Drepina, whose previous work includes collaborations with renowned gothic and dark metal artists such as Draconian and Evadne. Her distinctive visual language lends a compelling new dimension to "The Sun", bringing the song's emotional and symbolic universe vividly to life.
The arrival of the new video coincides with Heavenwood's preparations for their long‑awaited return to the stage. On 22 September, the band will perform a special concert at Coliseu do Porto, Portugal, marking an impressive 30 years of Heavenwood's recording career.
