Melancholic doom entity Kaunis Kuolematon today released a new album, Kun Valo Minussa Kuoli, their most immersive and emotionally charged work to date. Out via Noble Demon, the band's fifth studio album captures Kaunis Kuolematon at a moment of artistic clarity - tragic, furious, vulnerable, and breathtakingly beautiful.

The previously released singles "Merta" and "Maailman Ainut Ihminen" already hinted at an album shaped by contrasts: bleak heaviness set against moments of fragile introspection, sweeping melodic lines wrapped in crushing sonic weight. Across the full record, this duality becomes even more pronounced. Kaunis Kuolematon stay true to the emotional core that has defined them since 2012, yet push their dynamics, atmosphere, and expressive depth further than ever before. With Kun Valo Minussa Kuoli now released, Kaunis Kuolematon once again immerse listeners in a world where melancholy reigns - and every note tells a story of beauty within darkness.

Alongside the album release, the Finns have shared a video for the track "Rauniot" and commented: "'Rauniot' is a track about inspecting life from the outside and applying subjective process for silently letting go and liberating self by acceptance. Should we be overwhelmed by the quiet decay and all the misery that everybody bear, or be free from suffocating hecticness bearing in mind the final frontier we all need to go through - death?"
