A sudden and serious health issue within the KMFDM camp has compelled the legendary German electronic-industrial innovators to postpone their nearly sold-out European tour, originally scheduled for February and March 2026. The run was scheduled to support their forthcoming album, Enemy, but the situation requires immediate medical intervention and ongoing therapy, making postponement unavoidable.
KMFDM founder Sascha Konietzko addressed fans with characteristic candour: "We are so very sorry. We were looking forward to do this tour, but we will make up for it."
Co‑vocalist Lucia Cifarelli added a message of gratitude and resilience: "We appreciate your love and support! Long live the ULTRA HEAVY BEAT."
All purchased tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled dates, with the band promising further updates as soon as the medical timeline becomes clearer.
Despite the touring setback, the release of Enemy remains unchanged. The album will arrive on 6 February 2026 via Metropolis Records, and the first single, "Oubliette", is already available, offering a glimpse into the band’s next chapter. You can listen to it over HERE.
For now, fans can only wait — and hope for a swift and full recovery within the KMFDM family — as the ULTRA HEAVY BEAT prepares to rise again. Link
