Atmospheric and dark shoegaze collective Last Leaf Down has offered the second single/video, "Reach The Sun", from its long-awaited third full-length, Weight Of Silence, due on 11 April through Lifeforce Records.
"Reach The Sun" reveals a new side of Last Leaf Down, blending driving, rhythmic elements with the band's signature melancholic depth. The song captures a sense of longing and renewal, weaving through themes of pain and doubt. With its pulsating rhythm, ethereal guitars, and emotive vocals it creates a dynamic yet deeply atmospheric experience. A raw edge to the track calls to mind the intensity of alternative bands like Placebo, giving it a fresh yet familiar energy that lingers.
After a long break from releases, the band returned in December 2024 with the single and video "Silence", available also HERE.
With its unique blend of alternative rock, shoegaze and post-rock, and a constant passion for music, Last Leaf Down continues on its path with the new album Weight Of Silence and prepares to delight its fans with new sounds. Link
