Magic Wands, a dream pop duo formed in Nashville by guitarists/vocalists Chris and Dexy Valentine, has shared a new single and video, "Hide", via Metropolis Records. Now based in Los Angeles, the group is known for its shimmering and dreamy sound, incorporating elements of shoegaze, post-punk and goth.
Heavily textured guitars, synth drones and ethereal vocals produce music with an otherworldly atmosphere, widely praised for its euphoric quality, especially evident in live performances.
Dedicated to creating imaginative and emotionally engaging music, Magic Wands has issued five studio albums, the most recent of which is Switch (2023). Its songs were also remixed by guest artists and released as Switched later in the year. Link
