Italian atmospheric/post-black/doom metal new project Marea has released its debut full-length, The Silence Of Rust, through Masked Dead Records/Sulphur Music.
"Marea is about dreams, dreary landscapes, deepest fears and harsh sounds. Both the sea and cosmos share an element, although reversed: the abyss."
Marea (tide) is an atmospheric post-black/doom metal project of M.B. The amalgam of the debut album, The Silence Of Rust, is thick and structurally dynamic, altering the heaviness in melody, the melody in the atmosphere and the atmosphere in heaviness again. The alternation of slow and fast rhythms and high-pitched and raw vocal styles ensures an intense emotive experience.
