Sweden's cinematic/symphonic metal group Nocean has just unveiled the "Insight Of Valeria" video single, the third single from its upcoming concept album, where music, storytelling, and visual expression are tightly interwoven.
Blending symphonic metal with cinematic drama, the band tells the story of Valeria, a mage who discovers that the world is trapped in an eternal time loop. An instrumental version of the track and a music video will also be available.
The album is part of a larger multimedia project that will be performed as a live concert experience with film and projections in a theatrical setting, similar to Nocean's previous production, Aurora: The Weight Of A Shadow, which was staged at 17 theatres and music venues across Sweden. The entire project is independently produced by the band, from the music and script to the visuals and technical execution. To bring its fantasy world to life, Nocean combines advanced AI tools with traditional post-production techniques, ensuring that every scene, character, and environment is carefully refined and artistically consistent. "AI is a creative tool for us - not a shortcut. We use it to build a world that matches the scale and emotion of the story", says lead vocalist Hanna Olsson. Link
