The USA-based artist Panic Priest is proud to announce that its new album, Once Wild, is now available via Negative Gain Productions. The latest opus, a follow-up to the 2022 full-length Psychogoria, is composed of ten tracks that marvellously blend synthpop, darkwave, goth, new wave and post-punk.
Panic Priest is a darkwave-centric project of Chicago's "dark crooner" Jack Armondo, who channels themes of death, sex, and doomed romance into haunting anthems for our turbulent times. By blending atmospheric synths, soaring guitars, dancefloor-driven beats, and commanding baritone vocals, Panic Priest creates emotionally charged and infectious midnight melodies that stand at the forefront of the modern dark scene.
With the new album, Once Wild (co-produced by longtime collaborator Brian Fox), Panic Priest once again broadens its sonic horizons, embracing glam, Italo disco, dream pop, and cinematic goth, all while remaining anchored in the melodic emotional gravity that has defined his work from the start.
