Prophecy Fest proudly announces a special Moonspell concert, "Wolfheart & Other Stories", for its 2025 edition. The Portuguese dark metal pioneers' career-defining breakthrough album Wolfheart will celebrate its 30th anniversary next year.
Moonspell's charismatic frontman Fernando Ribeiro comments: "We are excited to finally play at the amazing Prophecy Fest at the Cave of Balve in Germany. Our concert will take place on September 13th, 2025 and it's going to be special as we're going to celebrate the 30 years of Wolfheart together and perform the album in its entirety and with the original order of tracks. In addition, we will be throwing in more musical gems from that period and even before. So let's make it a date and prepare to be under the spell next year. We can hardly wait!"
The fest's founder, Martin Koller, adds: "We are thrilled to welcome Moonspell in Balve next year. We are trying to present the amazing legacy bands whose music has particularly influenced the course of Prophecy Productions over the years. Moonspell definitely belongs alongside such iconic acts as Celtic Frost/Triptykon, My Dying Bride, and Paradise Lost that we have invited in recent years".
Prophecy Fest 2025 will bring dark, forward-thinking music with an attitude to one of the world's most fascinating cultural locations, the legendary, natural Cave of Balve ("Balver Höhle"). The three-day event will commence on Thursday, 11 September, and conclude with a final concert starting before midnight on Saturday, 13 September. The price for a three-day-pass 2025 is 149 € (plus service charge).
So far, these acts have been confirmed, with many more bands to be added in due time (in alphabetical order): Arthur Brown, Dornenreich, Kall, Moonspell, Soror Dolorosa, and The Vision Bleak. Link
