Melodic doom/dark/death metal outfit Psilocybe Larvae has released its Новый Дивный Мир (Brave New World) EP, marking a historic milestone in the band's storied career - featuring Russian lyrics for the first time.

The EP features two brand-new songs in Russian, alongside a re-recorded version of "Hostile Emptiness" from the band's 2003 Agony album. This release sees the band push the boundaries of its signature blend of melancholy, despair, and rage, while introducing heavier and denser textures through the integration of Russian lyrics.

Frontman Vit "Larv" Belobritsky explains: "This is an unusual and experimental work for Psilocybe Larvae. For the first time in the band's history, we wrote songs in Russian. We aimed to preserve the unique atmosphere of melancholy, despair, and rage in the music, while adding heaviness and density to the sound by blending these elements with Russian lyrics". Link
