Formed in 1987, Samael are among the most influential forces in extreme metal, having reshaped the genre with classics such as Worship Him (1990) and Passage (1996). "Black Matter Manifesto" is raw, commanding, and unmistakably Samael.
Vorph on "Black Matter Manifesto": "Opposites in life have long been a recurring theme in the band's lyrics, which finally find resolution in the song 'Black Matter Manifesto'. The quest for harmony ends where darkness reigns". Link
