Swedish gothic rock veterans Scheitan have unveiled the official video for "A Kiss Of Death, the opening track of their brand-new album Wine For A Tormented Soul, out now via The Circle Music.
Frontman Pierre Tornkvist explains: “'A Kiss Of Death' is the opening track of the album so it felt suitable to do a video for it. The song itself is, as most of Scheitan’s songs these days, a dark story of love, death and all things between.”
The album Wine For A Tormented Soul follows 2024’s Songs For The Gothic People and presents a deeply personal journey across eight tracks. Alongside "A Kiss Of Death", listeners will encounter previously released singles "Carry Me Home", "Heaven Tonight", "Love n Death", and "Döden är helt underbar", which you can check out over HERE. Together, they weave a tapestry of haunting melodies, lyrical darkness, and Scheitan’s unmistakable gothic atmosphere.
With Wine For A Tormented Soul, Scheitan reaffirm their place in the gothic rock landscape, offering a record that is both intimate and uncompromising—an exploration of love, mortality, and the shadows in between. Link
