Amsterdam-based artist Subject Sue continues to blur the boundaries between darkwave, ethereal techno, and nocturnal electronic music with the release of "Way Too Much", the final single taken from her debut EP, Details In The Dark, out via AVANT! Records on 21 October.
Drawing inspiration from Amsterdam's vibrant queer club scene and the delicate line between euphoria and alienation, Subject Sue crafts a cinematic sound world steeped in mystery, longing, and after-dark introspection. Her music transforms personal experiences and emotional fragments into immersive club anthems, exploring themes of desire, identity, connection, and the elusive beauty found within the shadows of the night.
Through six evocative tracks, Details In The Dark navigates the blurred borders between lust and romance, intimacy and estrangement.
