Poland's Tachion-X has served its second single and video, "Tonight Is The Night - Serial Killer", which, apart from its unique sound inspired by dark wave, downtempo, and industrial genres, carries a deep, personal message.
During the production of this release, two band members unexpectedly lost loved ones to cancer. This difficult and personal experience significantly impacted not only the musicians but also the creative process, giving the album being recorded at the time a completely new, unplanned dimension.
Due to these challenging experiences, the band decided to dedicate its just-released single, "Tonight Is The Night - Serial Killer", and its accompanying video to the topic of cancer.
The music video visually reflects the musicians' emotions while creating this special project. In the clip, viewers can see symbolic imagery related to the cruelty of cancer and loss, closely tied to the personal experiences of the band's members. The video metaphorically depicts the disease, its insidiousness, and its devastating impact. The imagery is unsettling, but it aims to shake the viewer and provoke reflection.
"Tonight Is The Night - Serial Killer" is a preview of the band's album, due on 29 November. The band hopes that its music will not only touch the hearts of listeners but also serve as a reminder of the importance of taking care of one's health and the health of loved ones.
