Innovative instrumental dungeon synth and folk project Teeth Of The Fae invites listeners on a mystical descent with the release of a single/video, "Cells Below The Shroom Homes", from its forthcoming album, Beneath Pointed Hat, due on 28 March via Wormholedeath.
Step beyond the veil and beneath the mycelium canopy - "Cells Below The Shroom Homes" conjures an eerie, immersive journey where nature's whimsy twists into shadowed cruelty. With a spellbinding fusion of dark dungeon synth, ethereal new-age tones, and neofolk spirit, the track paints a sonic tapestry of both beauty and dread.
Teeth Of The Fae emerged in January 2024, with Jamie Prentice crafting a distinctive blend of dungeon synth and dark ambient rooted in Faerie Lore and English landscapes. The debut album, I Can Feel This Land Breathe, arrived in March 2024.
In July 2024, The Unseen Beckons introduced a raw, folky black metal sound influenced by Finnish tremolo melodies and Catholic themes. Now, with Beneath Pointed Hat, Teeth Of The Fae blends dungeon synth, neofolk, and whimsical elements, drawing from Mortiis, Enya, and Ulver. Beneath Pointed Hat marks a new chapter. It invites listeners deeper into Teeth Of The Fae's enchanting and otherworldly soundscapes.
Beneath Pointed Hat is a wordless serenade from the gnome realms - a mesmerizing blend of dark dungeon synth and ethereal new-age tones sprinkled with delicate touches of neofolk. Enchanting and enigmatic, the album beckons listeners into a folklore-laden soundscape, where every note whispers an untold tale from beneath the mossy earth. Link
