Atmospheric doom metal project The Answer Lies In The Black Void has released a new video for "Mists Of Krakatoa", an adaptation of a track from bassist Jason Kohnen's previous band, The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble. Originally featured on the 2009 album Here Be Dragons, this haunting piece has been reimagined and revitalized for a new audience.
Composed by Jason Kohnen and Gideon Kiers, the song also features lyrics and vocals from the original performance by Charlotte Cegarra, and includes violins by Sarah Anderson, bass and soundscapes by Attila Kovacs, vocals by Martina Horváth and instrumentation, mix, and mastering by Jason Kohnen. In addition to the video release, the band is offering this track as a free/pay-what-you-like Halloween gift to fans, inviting listeners to immerse themselves in its desolate and atmospheric soundscape.
