UK-based gothic/dark rock three-piece The Exceptional Mr Hyde has released a new single and video, "I'm Not The Same Guy". Differing in style from the band's earlier releases, this dark and broody track oozes "lugubrious charm" and covers, in classic goth style, the reflections of the lead singer following his true-life near-death experience faced last year. Addictive bass, sinister guitar riffs and doleful vocals deliver a surprisingly catchy tune.
There's a stylish video to accompany the track that depicts the Devil and God deep in the pits of Hell playing a rigged game of cards for the soul of the singer "Mr Hyde". Link
