Gothic‑infused blackened death metal group The Noctambulant have served another cut, "San Martino", from their upcoming studio effort Revival, slated for release on 18 September via Terminus Hate City.
The band reveal: "'San Martino' tells the legend of the lost Florida monastery swallowed by the swamp—a tale eerily similar to that of Roanoke. It's believed that the faithful disturbed ancient spirits, and the creatures of the swamp exacted a deadly price for their intrusion".
"San Martino" bursts from the abyss with explosive percussion, rapid‑fire rhythms, and monstrous gutturals. Devastating in its savagery, the chorus introduces a tonal shift through intimately delivered spoken passages. The volatility and dynamic tension of the arrangement leave behind an eerie, lingering sense of foreboding—suggesting that something else lurks beyond the track's final moments.
