Finnish pagan/black metal artist Vermilia has released a brand new single, "Vakat". The single is the first one from her forthcoming album entitled Karsikko, set for release in early 2025. The lyric video for "Vakat" is now streaming, giving fans a glimpse of what’s to come.
Vermilia comments: "'Vakat' draws inspiration from ancient traditions. In the past, villages used to celebrate 'Ukko's Vakkas'. The song is a pagan hymn of praise and a plea to Ukko, the God of Thunder, to bring rain and ensure a good harvest for the people."
Vermilia also has announced an autumn tour in Spain, which includes 6 shows total all over Spain and a special show in Helsinki Finland as a headliner show. Night will be filmed in multicam by 4k-media. Link
