Venture into 'The Beneath', the realm of demons, in the new single of the USA-based symphonic black metal ensemble Vesseles. The single/lyric video, "Eternally Within Us", continues to delve further into the band's new era following the recent release of "Flesh Throne".
"Eternally Within Us" provides a glimpse into the mythic rituals of The Beneath. It is a ceremonial track complete with Latin mantras and sweeping symphonics that ground the demon realm's ancient roots in flesh and blood. Fiercely aggressive yet cinematic, the song is key to Vesseles' worldbuilding as it explores the significance of the land's veins and how it connects demons to the realm historically and organically.
Founded in 2023, Vesseles is the sonic vessel through which Valira speaks the language of her origins. As composer, orchestrator, and architect, she crafts bleak, incantatory soundscapes that fuse serrated guitars with haunted symphonic textures. Her voice, at once seething and spectral, now rises with increasing clarity, layered across both backing and lead roles in studio and on stage. It is not performance. It is possession. Through sound, she casts off the human shell and steps fully into her true form: demon, exile, survivor. Link
