Polish depressive dark/black metal band Victim Path will release its new album, Lost In Stellar Dust, on 6 May via Fetzner Death Records. One album's track, "Polar Lights", is already out.
The album showcases six tracks and over 32 minutes of musical experience and will be available in a Digipak and digitally.
Victim Path commented about the new effort: "For us, this album is full of contrasts, moods and emotions, different reminiscences all the way from suicidal-depressive vibes to the snowy atmospheric black metal. Depressive, viscous, oppressive like tombstone episodes are mixed with unmotivated aggression just to turn unexpectedly into a ringing elegiac sadness of northern landscapes. The catharsis comes from unity with nature and revealing its secrets, so that you experience hypnotic comfort of the icy wastelands".
The Victim Path's dark way began in 2009. The lyrics are based on the themes of misanthropy, pain, and loneliness of a person deprived of the right to be God's creation. The denial of religious postulates, canons and dogmas of everyday life - the ideological content behind the heavy sound. In November 2011, the demo album, In Life We Trust, was released by Depressive Illusions Records, and in August 2012, the debut full-length, Surrounded By Pain, saw the light of day via Possession Productions.
