DISCONNECTED SOULS - Presents Cover Version Of Frankie Goes To Hollywood's Hit

Chester (UK) based matallers Disconnected Souls have released a cover of Frankie Goes To Hollywood's evergreen hit "The Power Of Love". Disconnected Souls are breaking down the traditional genre boundaries and combine classical and electronic elements with metal to create a dynamic signature sound. This new cover delves into haunting and ethereal synths, orchestration and heavy guitars. Backing vocals are by Jonny Young and Lindzi North of Fight The Tornado.

Disconnected Souls have created a tradition for themselves by releasing the cover of a Christmas song each year. This cover of Frankie Goes To Hollywood’s "The Power Of Love", is their third cover following last year’s "A Spaceman Came Travelling", by Chris de Burgh, and their first cover, "Walking In The Air". They chose "The Power Of Love" because it’s a dramatic track that could be easily enhanced and experimented with.

The single will be officially released on 3rd December, and it follows the release of their acclaimed debut EP Warring Elements which dropped earlier this year. The band comments: "With all the ups and downs of this year, "The Power Of Love" seemed an appropriate choice in an attempt to bring some positivity to the scene."
