Portuguese music composer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Paulo J. Mendes, known as the mastermind of the band Caedeous, just released a brand new symphonic/gothic metal musical opus titled Elementia: The Grimoire Of The Darklord. This album includes carefully selected songs in metal edition format from the acclaimed Elementia I, II and III albums. For this opus Paulo gathered several renowned vocalists and lyricists like Alexa Ray, Julie Seechuk and Alina Lesnik.
The first album in the series, Elementia I, featuring Alina Lesnik, was released as an epic orchestral version in May 2016. It was followed in June 2018 by Elementia II in the same orchestral style, this time featuring award winner soprano vocalist Alexa Ray. Elementia III came out in January 2020 and beside Alexa Ray it featured guest vocalist Julie Seechuk. After those three orchestral albums, now Elementia: The Grimoire Of The Darklord, is finally published and it's a must for every fan of high quality symphonic/gothic metal.
