Portuguese symphonic black/extreme metal outfit Caedeous has completed the work on its third album, Malum Supplicium, which will see the light of day on 21 April via Black Sunset/MDD as a double CD.
The opulent compositions by mastermind Paulo J. Mendes relentlessly unfold their effect on the nine songs in a reign of merciless black metal blast beats and a symphonic sound wall.
The album was mixed and mastered at Gray Matter Audio Studios in Soham, England, by Rich Gray (Annihilator), who also does the honours as a session bass player. In addition to the regular album, the second CD contains the complete work in a purely orchestral version, which completes the band's musical vision!
The band will offer the first taste of Malum Supplicium soon, so be prepared! Link
