FATIGUE - New Experimental EP Out Now And Available For Streaming

Massachusetts (USA)-based dark synth-pop act Fatigue, a solo-project by performer Lillian Edith Martin (also known as New England-area goth/industrial DJ Sawtooth), has just released a new EP titled We Are The Wreckage. With a series of singles and EPs, she grabbed the attention of the dark electronic scene, to which she went to build on with her acclaimed full-length album, Illusory Things (2020). The record introduced the scene to her unique blend of electronic goth-pop, which borrows from a multitude of different styles, and tackles issues as varied as mortality, societal collapse, ennui, and her own trans identity, all without losing its goth club appeal.

Now in 2021, Fatigue brings you We Are The Wreckage, a new 3-song EP of songs written and produced in the shadow of the pandemic, and a prelude to the degradation of society. Not content to remain in one place, the songs on We Are The Wreckage jump from genre to genre, from the cavernous trap fusion of "The Cotard Delusion", (with guest vocals from experimental rapper Kofi The Spiderman) to the jerky-yet-hallucinogenic EBM of "Mausoleum", to a lurking synth-step cover of "Passenger" by Deftones which is exclusive to Bandcamp and featuring guest vocals by Thomas Rhymer of The Russian White.

With this new EP, Fatigue is pushing herself creatively, exploring new avenues of sound, and breaching the confines of the "goth/industrial" label. Dance through the darkness, and spitefully upon the ruins of society with her latest effort, We Are The Wreckage. The entire EP can be heard in the player below, and it's available as "name your price" digital download. Link
