Italian electro/industrial/dark pop legends Kirlian Camera present a brand new single "The 8th President", taken from the upcoming EP with the same name which will be released on 26th March via Dependent. The song is as well the first delicious appetiser taken from their forthcoming double album Cold Pills. The subversive Italians move from the melancholy electronic of Hologram Moon in favour of more irreverent, restless and blackish climates, and that comes evident on the title track.
The meticulous songwriting and striking arrangement of the single elegantly demonstrates how this duo (now apparently a quartet) has mastered its musical craft with the wealth of experience of more than 30 years. Elena Alice Fossi's soaring vocals float with captivating ease over a beckoning abyss of sinister electronics.
