New York (USA) based one-man doom metal act Drift Into Black (led by ex-Grey Skies Fallen keyboardist Craig Rossi) has just released a new evocative animated lyric video for "Thread Of Hope". The song is taken from the upcoming Drift Into Black album Patterns Of Light, which will be released on the 28th of May via Black Doomba records. "Thread Of Hope" fuses post-punk beats and haunting vocal melodies with Drift Into Black's synth-laden progressive doom/death metal sound. The music video augments the song's dark lyrics using contorted animations of scenes including graveyards and burning forests. Watch the video in the player below.
