BRAVE THE WATERS - Debut EP From NYC Instrumental Duo Available For Streaming

Brave The Waters, the New York City-based duo featuring members of Buckshot Facelift and Grey Skies Fallen, will self-release on 12th May the debut EP entitled Chapter 1 - Dawn Of Days. The digital version is already available as "name your price" digital download from Bandcamp. While the duo's other endeavors, both deliver extreme output, with this new venture they explore lush, percussion-free, clean instrumental guitar and bass passages. Created by Tom Anderer (bass guitar, acoustic guitar) and Rick Habeeb (guitar), both of whom also perform in death/doom quintet Grey Skies Fallen and blasting hardcore/grind henchmen Buckshot Facelift, Brave The Waters' Chapter 1 - Dawn Of Days debut EP was created with an improvisational, synchronized jam style. Spontaneously created with exceptionally minimal planning, and soaked in Strymon's Big Sky Reverberator, some of the record's six winding songs were envisioned and recorded in a half hour. You can give a listen to the whole thing in the Bandcamp player below. Link
