DI AUGER - Unleashes A New Album And The First Official Video

Toronto (Canada) based neo-industrial gothic rock act Di Auger will release a new and extensive album, Under The Skin Of The World, on 2 August. The first official video for "Piss & Vinegar" was released on 18 July. And another track from the forthcoming album, "In The Twilight Of Nothing", is available for streaming on digital media.

Di Auger is the solo artist, C. Lefort, that has created a movement of aggressive but melodic music that encompasses several genres yet, has established itself in a self-created foundation called "Neo Industrial Gothic Rock". For the past several years Di Auger has cultivated and developed his persona as an independent artist, the result of which is a discography consisting of six full-length albums, over six EPs, as well as various remixes, singles and collaborations.

His newest release, Under The Skin Of The World, is both original in concept and execution and represents his first collaboration with producer and contributor Sean Beesley of the Live Evil Productions who states: "Di Auger has been a long-standing pillar in independent music in Canada. But also an engine driving its growth. The Alter Ego / Persona is as fascinating in depth and content, as his discography. When I received the demos for this album, I knew immediately this was huge, and I wasn't wrong! Further, the content was so directly tied to ongoing current events that it created a timeline, and we knew we were revisiting the 70-80 concept album phenomenon. This is without a doubt the most original, diverse, genre-shattering album I have ever heard. It is truly the perfect place to start a journey back to art of album listening!. It was a huge blessing to be involved".

Lyrically driven and fused with classical melodies, churning rhythmic guitar, and theatrical punk-like vocals. At times hypnotic, haunting, and angry, very, very angry. Asure yourselves by checking on "Piss & Vinegar". Link
