The international cinematic symphonic metal band Catalyst Crime revealed the cover artwork, album title and release date of the band's upcoming debut album. The self-titled album, Catalyst Crime, is set to be released on 22 October via Massacre Records.
All songs were mixed and mastered by Alexander Krull (Atrocity, Leaves' Eyes) at Mastersound Entertainment Studios. The album's artwork was design by Stefan Heilemann/Heilemania. Catalyst Crime's album is a cinematic metal journey that covers a wide spectrum of genre-defying sounds and emotions, ranging from symphonic metal to death metal to progressive metal and back.
It all began in late 2017 as a project between Xandria drummer Gerit Lamm and American vocalist Zoë Marie Federoff, accompanied by orchestral composer and keyboardist Jonah Weingarten of Pyramaze, guitarists Chena Roxx and Kaelen Sarakinis, as well as bassist Matt Federoff, the project quickly took shape into a fully formed band Check out a short album teaser below.
