German gothic rockers Sweet Ermengarde announced that the vocalist Daniel Schweigler left the band. As a creative force behind all the releases since he joined the band in 2015, Daniel has decided to pursue his own interests and departs as a friend and valued contributor to the band’s output.
The band comments: "With every ending, there is a beginning. Musical collectives, much like the seasons, ebb and flow with the passage of time and are never restful. Constantly evolving, the rhythm echoes the beating hearts of its members and with that, we arrive at a natural conclusion to Daniel’s involvement with Sweet Ermengarde. As the branch of a tree falls to the ground, so the seeds of the future are sown. Sweet Ermengarde continues to flourish and thrive in its new form and will continue to develop with Lars accompanied by Mischa, Jacques and Ro."
